My Thoughts....
Wow, what a dysfunctional couple, with friends and a brother...all making this one heck of a good short read. What will happen when two childhood friends get tired of their abusive men? The author really keep the readers attention and keep you turning the pages with all of the twist and unexpected turns that this novel gives the reader. The novel had a interesting storyline and then that ending was off the chain ...good and unexpected shocking ending. I loved that this author was able to give the reader a good read all in one read. Thank you, thank you...thank you!

Wild Cherry was so hot, I had to tun on the fan as soon as I started to read it! I enjoyed it from start to finish. Gina and Princess were Sweet! I love the way K'wan put this story together.... But then I love all of K'wan's stories! He does not disappoint! K'wan keep up the good work! Is there going to be a Wild Cherry2? How about Wild Chocolates? This Story was really HOTT!!! -D
For some reason I feel/felt like I read some of this story a long time ago but this short but entertaining book was truly stellar. K'wan writes with so much passion and grit it always feels like you are watching a movie instead of reading a book. K'wan knows how to take your mind on a trip that you will never forget. The story is too slick to give away in details but if you are a fan of K'wan's add this gem to the collection.
That's my word I was and still am speechless after reading this short novel. It was nothing like I expected and that is a great thing. No reader wants to read rehashed stories. This is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Worth every penny and would have paid more to be thrown for a loop the way I was. 5 Stars... Nah this was well worth 10 Stars for a short novel. All I can say to the author is thank you. Thank You K'wan for keeping this side of a reader ever present in your gift.
The reason that I rated the way that I did was because, for a short story (I finished in one day), it had everything a good book should, down to the surprise ending. Yes, it starts off as the typical urban fiction, and don't get it twisted, I LOVE urban fiction, but this book has it all in ONE book! There's no sequel to wait for..... it begins and ends all in one book! FANTASTIC! BUY IT!
This book was excellent!!! It's been a minute since I've read any of K'wan's books and I must say I'm gonna have to jump back on his bandwagon. It's refreshing to read a book with descriptive characters, a good plot, and excellent editing. That goes a long way!! This story was nice and to the point. Hated what happened to Princess and was just shocked by the ending. You totally threw me for a loop. Now I'm gonna have to go back and read your other titles. As always, continue with the good writing!!!
You never know what to expect when you open a K'wan novel except great writing and even better stories.
I'm not a huge fan of short stories; they usually leave me feeling unsatisfied. This story was just long enough to both hold my attention, and leave me happy.
I was puzzled by the title, but it will all make sense as you read. It's a very quick read, I would've liked a bit more character development for the supporting cast but overall great read.
Now can I get the next story of Slim Goodie and Black Moses?! The teaser in Purple Reign isn't enough.
Can you tell I'm a serious reader?
Loved this short book by Kwan.. my review.....
In my opinion Gina was crazy to put up with the mess thelat Jackie was delivering to her... I believe that she believed that Jackie loved her or maybe it was the I'm hood rich mentality that she had which kept her with him... idk but what I do know is love doesn't hurt and Gina was hurting quite a few times.....
Princess and her dude Slim....now they were a mess!!!! They were both messy.
I loved the netting of Gina and Princess and the realization that they have more in common than they thought.. revenge is a dish best served quick... fast and in a hurry in my opinion... didn't really care for the ending but it was a good book nonetheless. I wanted more. Gotta applaud Kwan for having so much and giving you so much in this good quick read... good job!!!!
